Several years ago a client, who had just purchased a home, asked us to help them design a remodeling of their kitchen, that included an informal dining area.  As we discussed their needs for space, they lamented that there was no formal dining area in the home.  But, because the home was otherwise perfect for them, they accepted this shortcoming.  As with any project, we began with several quick sketches, generating several ideas for the remodeling.  In one sketch, we incorporated an adjacent laundry room into the total plan, thus creating enough space for a formal dining area.  This option had not occurred to the clients and they were ecstatic over the possibility.  The home now meets their every need, thus making their investment in our architectural services invaluable.
